Question about Winter: Does the damage have to originate within Winter, or affect a target within Winter, or both, for it to change elemental types?
i.e.: If I am within Winter, Elementalist is outside, he casts a Meteor at me, does it count as cold damage? What about reversing positions? What about being within when the spell resolved, but running out (Meteor delays, so you could in fact have it both cast and resolve withing, but step outside when the damage is done)?
If anyone has tested this I'd be interested.

Ok, tested.
Results are as follows-
Elemental damage inflicted within the spirit is Cold.
Elemental damage inflicted outside of the spirit from within the spirit is Cold.
Tested using Mantra of Frost to indicate whether the damage was cold or not (+1 energy for cold hits) with Winter vs the Master of Lightning [on Isle of the Nameless]. Once, I set the spirit within range of him, and stood outside of the spirit's range (no marker in the upper left corner), and once I set the spirit out of his range, and tested standing inside and outside of it (both people out of the spirit's range is purely for controlled experiment testing).

Wow, thanks: To be clear though, Attacker = A, Defender = D, 1 = affected by winter, 0 = not affected by winter
(A, D) = (0..1)
(1,1)=1
(1,0)=1
(0,1)=1
(0,0)=0
Correct? As in, if one or the other is in winter's range it is cold? Great testing, thanks
